Genshin Impact Tops Global Mobile Game Revenue Again February Sensor Tower Report

Recently, Sensor Tower released the February rankings for Chinese mobile games’ performance in the global market. The game “Genshin Impact” by miHoYo topped the list for the second consecutive month in the global mobile game revenue rankings. In February, “Genshin Impact” experienced a surge in revenue due to the launch of the high-demand “Hnut” and “Nya Lan” character pools, as well as the update of the 3.5th version content, both of which contributed to a significant increase in its revenue. This led to “Genshin Impact” reclaiming its position as the top revenue earner and regaining the top spot in the revenue growth rankings.
Another game by miHoYo, “Blade and Blossom 3” (also known as “Burst and Blossom 3”), saw a 62% increase in revenue for the month, returning to the top 14 of the global revenue rankings and securing the third spot in the revenue growth rankings. This was attributed to the launch of new characters, plotlines, and activity content in February.
“Puzzles & Survival” by San Yu Interactive and “PUBG MOBILE” by Tencent ranked second and third respectively in the global mobile game revenue rankings. Among them, “Devil M” (M) by San Yu Interactive, an MMORPG game, saw a 107% increase in revenue for the month, climbing to the fourth spot in the revenue growth rankings. By March 5th, the global revenue of “Devil M” had exceeded $11 million.
“Liliths” game “Kingdoms of All the World” ranked fourth in the February global revenue rankings. According to Sensor Tower data, as of February 29th, “Kingdoms of All the World” had earned over $2.6 billion globally, with the US, South Korea, and Japan contributing 29%, 16%, and 10% of its global revenue, respectively.
The new MMORPG game “The Legend of the Dragon Riders” developed by Purple Games and published by GameBeans, with a theme of “Dragons,” launched in the Chinese Taiwan and Hong Kong markets in early February. In the IP-dominated Chinese Taiwan and Hong Kong markets, the game ranked fourth in the February mobile game sales rankings and second in the revenue growth rankings for the month.
The mobile games “SNK: Fighting Generations” by Zhong Youxiao, “Whiteout Survival” by Dian Dian Interactive, “DeathGard” by Yixian Network, “Primitive Era: 10000 BC” by San Yu Interactive, “Nations of Darkness” by StarFortune (a subsidiary of Zhong Youxiao), and “Happy Hospital: Doctor ASMR” by Luyou Zhixin, all debuted in the global revenue growth rankings for the first time this month.
